April's joy was contagious! She had such a sweet countenance about her and she spoke with such a fervent passion for Christ. So many words come to mind: insightful... energetic... discerning... practical. April was amazing; her presentation met each of us at our point of need.
Our church was right in the middle of ferocious spiritual warfare; April not only reminded us to live victoriously through our tough times, she equipped us; teaching us practical- (yet fashionable) ways to put on the full armor of God, and be ready for battle! Her knowledge of the fashion industry intrigued all of the ladies; her humorous parallel between the armor of God and our everyday clothing and accessories was very refreshing.
April encouraged each of us to wear our garments of praise everyday, and live with boldness and unwavering zeal for telling others about Christ. April's gifts are certainly not lying dormant; count on receiving blessings beyond belief!

April Barr is an incredibly talented, passionate, and motivating speaker! Our Queen Esther’s Court conference was unlike any weekend I had experienced in my 15 years of living in Pascagoula, MS--it was fantastic!
Participants came from 10 local churches from various denominations; others traveled from Louisiana and Alabama; and some participants were foreign exchange students from Europe & Venezuela. Every color, race, creed was represented and we seemed to enter into a like-mindedness.
April’s genuine and transparent sharing inspired and connected with us as she shared how to apply God’s truth to our daily lives. April’s lessons taught us how to honor God with our whole selves: attitudes, choices, dress, and makeup. Mothers and daughters alike heard loud and clear a biblically sound God-given message of encouragement. Our QEC day will forever be a day we remember with such joy!

I believe the most important issue in the lives of young people, is their identity. They desire to be loved, valued, and accepted. In this desire many have bought into Satan’s lie that their identity lies in their performance. Christ however loves, values, and accepts them on the basis of His performance on the cross, not theirs in the world. I struggle weekly to get my young people to understand this truth, and constantly seek for others to help back me up in this endeavor.
April Barr was just the back up I was looking and praying for. She has a great understanding of who she is in the Lord, and a passion to show others that they are valued greatly. April made my event a joy, as she poured her heart into my group. I could go on forever about the benefit of having April share with my students the truth that God has burned in her heart. My students will be forever changed because April Barr allowed herself to be a vessel for Christ, and I know every church that has April share will feel the same way.

Our ladies were indeed fortunate to have April speak at our women’s retreat. Our retreat was geared for women of all ages and April’s presentations were relevant to all attending.
